Public Safety Services listed below are provided by certain CenturyLink operating companies (former EMBARQ operating companies) and governed by general provisions of those companies’ applicable Tariffs (posted to http://about.centurylink.com/tariffs) and the following service-specific terms and conditions in the listed states, except in Nevada, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee where the services provided by Central Telephone Company – Nevada Division (Nevada), United Telephone Company of Indiana, Inc. (Indiana), United Telephone Company of Ohio (Ohio), and United Telephone Southeast LLC (Tennessee), respectively, are governed by the applicable Local Terms of Service, posted to http://about.centurylink.com/legal/rates_conditions.html.  For an interim period until all work is completed to update systems and platforms related to the combination of EMBARQ and CenturyTel, references to the EMBARQ name will continue to be used in association with these services.
